The journey of Dj4way: From pirate radio to party's

Dive into the rich history of dj4way, a Portuguese DJ based in vibrant Amsterdam since 1985. His musical journey began in the '90s, when he spent 14 years on the pirate radio station Radio 100. During that time, he experimented with a wide range of styles: from hip-hop, dub, and lounge to trip-hop, drum 'n' bass, and dubstep. This period was characterized by energetic sets in squats and at illegal raves. In 1998, he established himself as a resident DJ at the iconic DJ Café KashmirLounge, where he captivated audiences with his unique sound for many years.

The Transformation: A New Sound

2017 marked a significant musical shift for Dj4way. On April 1st of that year, thanks to LBM12, he was invited to host a live stream on FullAudio from KashmirLounge—a completely new and challenging experience. Tech-house and techno became his new playground, opening up a whole new world of sound for him. For two and a half years, he hosted the live stream "KashmirLounge powered by FullAudio" with LBM12. This new focus also brought him to renowned events, including ADE in 2017 and 2018, where he performed at DJ Café KashmirLounge and Conestudio. Since 2022, he has been hosting "Feel the Beat" at KashmirLounge, a monthly event together with other DJs.

A crucial part of Dj4way's career is the numerous collaborations that have shaped him. He's shared the stage with an impressive list of DJs, including Lbm12, Esmo, Cover, Miss L, Carlos del Moral, Rick Dyno, Pat Baker Jaydee, DJ Slave, Miss Tech, D.Noyse, Javier Rodriguez, Besty Fritz, Errol Mac, Rauw, and many more. These collaborative performances not only contributed to his development but also resulted in unforgettable sets that left their mark on the scene.
